The materials and activities on these sites were developed with one goal: to help EFL students speak English. In the end, however, my job of teaching became much easier, and much more effective and enjoyable for me and the students!
What began with the ConFluency Card Game in Junior High School has since inspired and transformed all of the classes I teach from Kindergarten to JHS and adults, as well.
The ConFluency Card Game was chosen by peers in 2007 and 2008 for presentation at local Shizuoka and National teachers' conferences. The card game was also selected for presentation at the 2008 JALT Conference in Tokyo.
There are explanations about each level of RSG materials on each site, so I invite you to visit the links below.
I have also included a link to The Minimalist ALT site, which has ideas and activities useful to any language teacher, not just foreign teachers in Japan. The activities there require no materials (other than a pair of dice and a kitchen timer), no preparation, and are time-flexible. The activities there are really the cream of the crop!
Best of luck & success in all your teaching efforts!

Welcome-
The Ready-Set-GO! English websites and materials are for teaching, practicing and testing English (or other foreign languages) and Communication Skills in EFL language classrooms.
I have been very fortunate to have the freedom to develop these methods and materials over 12 years in Shizuoka, Japan.
These Ready-Set-GO! websites were produced to answer the need of schools and teachers in Japan who need easy-to-use and engaging ways to help their students become competent English speakers.
I hope you will be as rewarded as I have been, watching my students speaking together in fun and meaningful English conversations!

The Minimalist ALT
The Minimalist ALT site was inspired by a group of Japanese elementary school teachers I was training who told me they wanted to learn activities that require 'no preparation, no materials, and are time-flexible.'
The result changed my teaching style and made my life a whole lot easier. And the students love it!
